For English, we had to choose two books and one movie from a country. I chose South Korea and some reason chose this movie: ”The Crucible (Dogani)”.
It is one of the most eye opening movies I’ve ever seen. It’s based on the true story of deaf children being sexually abused by the headmaster and teachers. It was unbelievably graphic that I had to skip those parts; I couldn’t watch it or hear the sounds and began to cry.
Even if you don’t enjoy watching Korean movies, I recommend you to watch this.
Unless you can’t watch the graphic abuse scenes.
This is actually heartbreaking when you remember Lilo tells Stitch her parents went for a drive, and the bad weather caused them to crash.
